Founded in 1996, the Yangtze River Performing Arts (YRPA), is a non-political and non-profit organization register in Ontario. Most of the members are Chinese immigrants.  Our vision is to support and promote both Chinese traditional music and local music and culture; to participate in special events for charity; and to attribute to society through community outreach programs; and provide opportunities for people from local community to exchange musical experiences to enrich their new life in Canada.

The YRPA organizes an annual concert to provide a positive environment for people within their multicultural community to exchange their musical and cultural lifestyles.

For the years, we have actively participated many community events. Some few of the examples:

Performing in Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival.

First place Award for Adult Mixed Choir in Peel Music Festival.

Performing in Overseas Chinese Choirs Festival every year.
